Package: patch
Version: 2.6-2
Severity: normal

k...@raph:~$ patch -m
patch: invalid option -- 'm'
patch: Try `patch --help' for more information.
k...@raph:~$ patch --help | grep -- --merge
-m --merge Merge using conflict markers instead of creating reject files.
k...@raph:~$

The short -m option is documented in the --help output, but it does not work
and is not in the man page. It should either be removed from --help or added to
the program and the man page.

Regards,
Kim
