Virtual box stopped working for me a while back for no obvious reason. It tells me to "modprobe vboxdrv", and vboxdrv is not present. It seemed to me that virtualbox-ose-dkms was managing all of this nicely for a while? Tonight I figured out that the module was not getting built because linux-headers-2.6.32-5-686 was not installed. Installing the headers resulted in vboxdrv being automatically built during the installation by dkms, and now I am back in business.
