Whilst editing a large table with some column headings merged, when a column is
deleted, sometimes the columns becomes skewed, causing subheadings (entries in
the second row) to become placed over the wrong column.

Deleting column c may cause table to appear as:

A similar problem with column skew occurs when the join selected cells is used
to join neighbouring cells within the table.
