I do not think that the CG toolkit is a dependency on any package and considering how it has been packaged previously I doubt it would effect anything by updating the package at the last minute. That said, is there anyone with some authority that can chime in on this? As an Ubuntu user of the CG toolkit for many years it has been annoying to download several megabytes of documentation and examples I am not going to look at just to use the lib.
