Thanks for debirf :). 

I imagine there are a lot of packages that could be put into the rescue
example profile and you can't add them all. However, I think grub2 would
be a good candidate to consider. I've figured out how to add it myself
to my own rescue images - but putting it in by default might be helpful
for others.
