Package: htop Version: 0.8.3-1 Severity: important after _htop_ starts the xorg/X process has very high cpu values always above 30% to 100% and stays that way for as long as htop is running.
this happens in a terminal/console but also at the other VT such as VT1. i tried it in xfce-terminal and terminator, i get the same behaviour. when i tried just a simple _top_ everything is ok. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=pt_PT.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pt_PT.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages htop depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-2 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libncurses5 5.7+20100313-2 shared libraries for terminal hand htop recommends no packages.
