Hi, I'm using my Linux box as an answering machine as well as fax machine. Therefore, I'm relying on ISDN4Linux, CAPI4Linux and the proprietary AVM drivers. On top of this, I'm running CapiSuite.
Since 2.6.32-5, the kernel is built without ISDN4Linux. Since then, I'm forced to build kernels for myself to be able to continue using my machine as before. ISDN4Linux always worked for me, even on my Intel Core 2 Duo an an AMD64 installation. In my eyes, it doesn't make any sense to disable working functionality. Please include ISDN4Linux modules in your Debian kernel builds again. Cheers, Michael -- Michael Kaaden mich...@kaaden.net If Bill Gates had a dime for every time a Windows box crashed... ....
