Hi Julien, the embassy packages in Squeeze will not work with the emboss package in Sid, Squeeze or Testing. The emboss packages in Sid now have a symbols file and this problem will not happen again. Please either remove the embassy packages, or unblock the emboss and embassy packages. Note that the emboss package in Testing is now unsupported, contains upstream bugs that are fixed in Sid, and lacks a feature that is important in the field of bioinformatics in 2010 (working with SAM files).
