I've just hit this one. "imagemagick" is a build-dependency
of "freedoom". aptitude satisfied it with
graphicsmagick-imagemagick-compat, however, freedoom also
uses "src-over" as the composition type, which fails.

I could adjust freedoom to use "over" instead, which works
with imagemagick. But if I want to add a versioned
dependency, to be accurate, and not to exclude
graphicsmagick as satisfying it, what would it be? The
earliest Debian version for imagemagick 6.x was 5:6.0.0-1,
but would Depends: imagemagick (>= 5:6.0.0-1) not exclude
graphicsmagick-imagemagick-compat (1.3.12-1 being less than
5:6.0.0-1?)
