Yes, I am working on it since yesterday. It is not a trivial work for two reasons: * the new version has new dependencies, such as Vala and gsettings-desktop-schemas (which is not packaged yet); * with the freeze of Squeeze, that new version will only go to experimental, with dependencies in experimental too. So do not expect the new version to be in Debian testing of Debian unstable, and do not expect it to be in Debian experimental before weeks: I will need to package another software (~ a week), have it sponsored (~ 2 weeks) as I am not a Debian Developper, and validated by the ftp-masters (~ 3 weeks) before I can upload the new version of LaTeXila and have it sponsored (~ 1 week). The fact that most of the work in Debian is now for the Squeeze release will slow down that process even more. So I think the new version of LaTeXila may be in Debian in something like one or two months. Sorry for these delays… -- Tanguy Ortolo
