tags 498658 = moreinfo thanks Pretty late answer - anyway:
I just checked with the latest version from unstable and lighttpd - problem is gone. Either this was due to the merge of the cacert.org certs into a single file or it was simply a configuration issue. Please report back within 5 days - then this bug will be closed. For reference: my lighttpd enabled ssl.conf includes: $SERVER["socket"] == "0.0.0.0:443" { ssl.engine = "enable" ssl.pemfile = "/etc/lighttpd/server.pem" } Where server.pem is just a merged .pem file by the key and cert signed by cacert.
