I'm running Icedove with Kerberos and Dovecot too. And everything works fine. > ii libgssapi-krb5-2 1.8.3+dfsg~beta1-1 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries - > k ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ You've installed the needed libs to support Kerberos in Icedove. So lets enable Debuggin in your Icedove. Type this two lines in a terminal: export NSPR_LOG_MODULES=negotiateauth:5 export NSPR_LOG_FILE=/tmp/negotiateauth.log and afterwards run 'icedove'. Icedove write all kerberos/gssapi related debug information into /tmp/negotiateauth.log. So take a look into this file and attach it to your reply mail.
