 I don't think it's a good idea either; in Linaro, we introduced an
 u-boot-linaro source which has tons of binary packages, but it's full
 of ugly names and it's too many packages for a very small amount of
 data.
   The general direction we should be going to is more commonality
 across ARM devices, not more hair-splitting  :-)   Just like the kernel
 is able to build a single zImage which works on a bunch of boards, we
 should aim at making that possible in u-boot starting by a single
 package with binaries for multiple boards, and perhaps going into a
 single u-boot binary working on more than a single board, perhaps all
 boards with the same SoC.
