I did it with
$ echo mypass > ~/.vnc/passwd

and also tried with

$ echo -n prova |md5sum > ~/.vnc/passwd

but now the login process stops saying:

connecting to sesman ip 127.0.0.1 port 3350
sesman connect ok
sending login info to sesman
login failed

$ readlink -f /usr/bin/Xvnc
/usr/bin/Xvnc4
