Package: debdelta Version: 0.39trl Severity: normal
I've unstalled 'localepurge' but its purges linger on in 'debdelta-upgrade' errors like this one: Downloaded, time: 113.82sec speed: 5218/sec : lilypond_2.12.3-6_2.12.3-7_i386.debdelta Error: applying of delta for lilypondfailed: : localepurge removed 15 files. (non retriable) <class '__main__.DebDeltaError'>localepurge removed 15 files. (non retriable) It seems 'debdelta-upgrade' did this: 1) spent 113 seconds downloading a delta. 2) noticed that 'localepurge' zapped some files. 3) gave up on that delta. Maybe 'debdelta-upgrade' could do something like: 1) notice that 'localepurge' zapped some files. 2) give up on that delta. 2a) otherwise fetch the delta as before... Since 'localepurge' users and ex-users wait through dozens of such errors, several minutes might be saved.
