Package: libvirt-bin Version: 0.8.3-1 Severity: normal I have a system with /usr/bin/editor set to something other than vi, thanks to the alternatives subsystem.
But when i run "virsh edit foo", i still get dropped into vi, unless i set $EDITOR explicitly. It seems to me that either it should fall back to /usr/bin/editor, or else virsh on debian should strip out all the editor-selection code and just invoke sensible-editor, which will do the fallback for it.
