Package: wicd
Version: 1.7.0+ds1-5
Severity: wishlist

Hello,

Thank you for maintaning wicd.

I'm happy I can create an ad-hoc network with Network/Create ad-hoc
network, but I could not find any way to later turn it off, or to see
whether the ad-hoc network I created is still there, without resorting
to running iwconfig.

One possible hack that came to my mind is to show the ad-hoc network as
"connected" after creating it, and allow to disconnect it as usual.

Cheers,

Enrico
