" In fact <version> is the upstream version _not_ the version from the most recent debian/changelog entry. See http://people.debian.org/~mpalmer/debian-mentors_FAQ.html#native_vs_non_native which is where I found out that lintian was wrong which enabled me to correctly build the package I was working on.
