Package: speech-dispatcher
Version: 0.7-5
Severity: normal

Hello,

It looks like speech-dispatcher now uses pulse by default. At least,
when I tried to use it I was getting

pulse.c: pa_simple_new() failed: Connection refused

in espeak.log. Now I have added AudioOutputMethod "alsa" in
/etc/speech-dispatcher/speechd.conf to force Alsa and it works.

Shouldn't alsa be kept the default?
Else the comment in speechd.conf should be updated.

Samuel
