Hi, I'm sorry, in message #25 I should have said "karmic" and not lucid.
Anyways, I built the karmic package 3.6.8+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.9.10.1 in a debian unstable chroot. (Had to echo 9 > /etc/debian_version to be able to install it). The bug still occurs.
