I think the patch just uploaded was not necessary and was
hastily applied before diagnosing the problem.

I had already closed Bug#495620 because it seemed to be
fixed using libcairo2-1.8.10-4.  All of the sites that
caused that problem seemed to display fine.

Plus it seems to have caused other problems with nvidia.

The new one that I reported (Bug#593294) seems to be a
totally new problem and was not fixed by this patch.
