Package: reportbug Version: 3.8 Severity: wishlist The first line of the body of e-mail sent to the Debian Bug Tracking System <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> must be the Package: line. Thus, the -o option is currently an accident waiting to happen for many users (that accident just happened to me) unless they remember to delete all lines before the "Package:" line in the file before sending it off as the body of e-mail to the Debian Bug Tracking System.
I was in two minds about whether to classify this as a normal bug or wishlist bug. Anyhow, I strongly encourage you to fix this bug since users shouldn't have to always remember to trim the interfering initial lines from the file that is output with the -o option. -- Package-specific info: ** Environment settings: EDITOR="jed" ** /home/irwin/.reportbugrc: reportbug_version "3.2" mode standard ui text realname "Alan W.
