Package: hardening-wrapper Version: 1.29 Severity: minor /usr/share/doc/hardening-wrapper/README.Debian says:
The way this package works is it diverts g{cc,++}-4.[123] and ld with perl scripts that enforce the use of several toolchain hardening features. However g{cc,++}-4.[12345] are now diverted, not just g{cc,++}-4.[123]. I haven't checked the rest of the README.Debian file. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=POSIX, LC_CTYPE=en_US.ISO8859-1 (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages hardening-wrapper depends on: ii g++ 4:4.4.4-2 The GNU C++ compiler ii gcc 4:4.4.4-2 The GNU C compiler ii perl 5.10.1-14 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction hardening-wrapper recommends no packages. hardening-wrapper suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
