Package: podbrowser Version: 0.12-2 Severity: normal anth...@zia:~$ podbrowser Byte order is not compatible at ../../lib/Storable.pm (autosplit into ../../lib/auto/Storable/_retrieve.al) line 380, at /usr/bin/podbrowser line 154
Removing ~/.podbrowser_cache fixes this. Maybe the old one was carried over from a 32-bit machine to my current 64-bit machine (both little-endian, so no idea why the byte order would be a problem). But even if so, this is quite broken, $HOME is shareable between machines, even machines of entirely different architectures. podbrowser should probably use Storable's portable nfreeze. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (200, 'unstable'), (100, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.34-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages podbrowser depends on: ii gnome-icon-theme 2.30.3-1 GNOME Desktop icon theme ii libgnome2-perl 1.042-2 Perl interface to the GNOME librar ii libgtk2-ex-podviewer-perl 0.18-1 Perl Gtk2 widget for displaying Pl ii libgtk2-ex-simple-list-perl 0.50-2 simple interface to Gtk2's complex ii libgtk2-gladexml-perl 1.007-1 Perl interface to use user interfa ii libgtk2-perl 2:1.222-1 Perl interface to the 2.x series o ii libhtml-parser-perl 3.66-1 collection of modules that parse H ii liblocale-gettext-perl 1.05-6 Using libc functions for internati ii perl 5.10.1-14 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction Versions of packages podbrowser recommends: ii libgnome2-0 2.30.0-1 The GNOME library - runtime files Versions of packages podbrowser suggests: ii perl-doc 5.10.1-14 Perl documentation -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
