Hello, dear FTP maintainers. Currently, k3d is blocked for migrating
to
testing because three architectures (hppa and the kfreebsd*) are blocking its
way. I need them removed:
out of date on hppa: k3d, k3d-dev (from 0.6.7.0-2.6)
out of date on kfreebsd-amd64: k3d, k3d-dev (from 0.6.7.0-2.6)
out of date on kfreebsd-i386: k3d, k3d-dev (from 0.6.7.0-2.6)
K3D is used in the desktop as a modeler similar to Maya or Houdini, so
it's completely useless that we ship the version in testing right now.
Apart from a FTBFS with gcc-4.5 (#565008) and another known problem with
missing Breaks (#588604) it also won't build on HPPA (#588923, this might be
fixable adding another flag to the compiler), and it doesn't build on
kfreebsd-* and hurd-* because of the missing package libinotify-dev.
I prefer working in hppa and the kfreebsd problems *after* we are sure
we
will have the right version for shipping in the next stable version.
