Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal

Hello, dear FTP maintainers. Currently, aqsis, a 3D renderer, is blocked
for migrating to testing because hppa is blocking its way. I need this
specific package (1.2.0-2.2 in testing/hppa) removed:

aqsis is not yet built on hppa: 1.2.0-2.2 vs 1.6.0-2 (missing 3 binaries:
aqsis, aqsis-libs-dev, aqsis-libsc2a)

Aqsis's version in stable and testing is 1.2, and 1.6 in unstable,
uploaded recently. 1.6 is almost 1 year old and 1.2 more than 3 years old
(which will probably be 1+ years and 4- years respectively, by the time
Squeeze is actually released) [3]. In between them there was 1.4, but this
version was never uploaded to unstable.

hppa has a problem when building it, there's some kind of infinite loop
when compiling some shaders provided by the package. I'm not interested so
far in an hppa port of aqsis blocking the transition, as this is software that
99.9% of users will run in amd64/i386.

Thank you very much in advance,

                Ender.
