Hi, this also happens with 2.2.1-1 from current Squeeze. Curiously, it doesn’t always happen and sometimes, speed increases again after a specific action like selecting multiple units or after the next turn.
However, that doesn’t always help. I’m running Debian Testing 32-bit on a Thinkpad X300 (1.2 GHz Dual-Core CPU, 4 GB RAM with PAE) and a self-compiled kernel 2.6.34.
