I originally suggessted the Simutrans team to use the GNU General Public License [0]. They moved the thread containing the letter to a lesser section of the forum, locked it and setup a ban on my IP and user at the forum by arguing the letter is "GPL spam". They made no comment about the suggesstions themselves, just competely dodge them. Maybe they are not so hostile about the successor of their current license. I will describe in depth the problem with the current simutrans licensing in a blog [1] which I opened for tracking the overall issue. Regards.
