Package: parted Version: 2.3-1 Severity: wishlist Hi,
hard disks which have bigger internal sectors than are presented to the OS will become more common in the future. The WD EARS, for example, has 4096 bytes sectors internally, and 512 sectors externally. On this disk, it is important to have partitions aligned on a physical sector boundary. To do this properly, one needs to know whether sector numbers start at 0 or 1. I didn't find that anywhere in the docs.
