Package: rdiff-backup Version: 1.2.5-1 Severity: normal
In rpath.py, from line 277 on. Function make_file_dict. I tried to backup to a nfs, which failed with an error OSError, something to do with fs-capabilities. The error occurred in the return C.make_file_dict(filename) call. I commented the whole thing with the C module out, and used the python-version (which is opted for, when os.system == 'nt'). The thing ran. I asked myself, why the python-stat is not opted for, if the C-stat raises an exception? Why fail? btw. I tried to report this bug via the rdiff-backup website, but didn't find any bugtracker or mail-adress.
