Package: bash-completion Version: 20080705 Severity: normal Attempting to tab complete gdb does not work properly.
The command I am trying to run is: $ gdm ./bin_linux/a.out core Using tab completion, the directory "bin_linux" is expanded and ends with a space ' ', intead of a trailing slash. The expected result is a the directroy is expanded to include a trailing /, so the filename can be typed in directly. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.5 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.31-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages bash-completion depends on: ii bash 3.2-4 The GNU Bourne Again SHell bash-completion recommends no packages. bash-completion suggests no packages. -- no debconf information The information in this e-mail may be confidential and subject to legal professional privilege and/or copyright.
