It seems that the only way to abort a hotsync after telling jpilot to begin one
is to follow jpilot's instructions to kill a process by typing 'kill nnnn' on
the command line. This seems pretty kludgy, even though it's straightforward
enough via copy and paste; shouldn't jpilot have an option to do this
automatically from within the application?
The easiest way I know is to quit jpilot and restart it.
Does that solve your problem?
It does, and, as I mentioned, copying and pasting the "kill nnnn" onto
the command line also works. I was just suggesting that a button or
something be implemented to do this automatically, without restarting
jpilot.
I reported the bug upstream as http://bugs.jpilot.org/view.php?id=2022
Thanks
