Hi Federico, Thank you for your email and bringing this issue to our attention. Fabio is in charge of the zope-common/zope-debhelper transition (did you know this, Fabio? :>), and so I suggest that you apply his patch and upload a new package.
I hope you see yourself as part of the pkg-zope team, because we would like to have you! In that spirit, it would be great if you could create pages for your packages at http://debian.madduck.net/pkg-zope/wiki/Packages and set the maintainer field accordingly. I've started http://debian.madduck.net/pkg-zope/wiki/Packages/Policy to document the procedure. Please edit.
