Package: maint-guide Severity: normal *** Please type your report below this line *** <alpharesearch> i try to package for the first time and I have some issues with the package.manpages file - there is a programname.1 file but lintian tells there is not man file installed <bremner> you are meant to callit spiffy.manpages if your binary package is called spiffy alpharesearch: I think it would be a good idea to write this in chapter 5.15 http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/maint-guide/ch-dother.en.html <pabs> it does, "package" is in italics. perhaps it could be clearer though, please file a bug on maint-guide
