Bad thing, indeed. Did you do something special when upgrading or
installing the package? Or did you simple aptitude install/upgrade?
no, I used apt-get to upgrade.
What I can say is that I used dokuwiki some days ago and yesterday I
have this surprise.
So I really cannot see what could have caused that on the package
itself, and I rather suspect something external, such as a
backup/restore cycle, or a filesystem rights checking tool...
I don't think I have a tool like that.
I use rkhunter, but I don't think it can modify owners.
In the dpkg.log I see:
2010-07-09 20:13:59 upgrade dokuwiki 0.0.20091225c-3 0.0.20091225c-4
but I'm nearly sure that have have make some change in the wiki after
that date.
So probably can be an external tool, but I have no idea.
The only "strange" thing I found is that a lot of time ago (years) I
have create a symbolic link:
$ ls -l /var/www/dokuwiki
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 20 3 mar 20.19 /var/www/dokuwiki ->
/usr/share/dokuwiki/
and I think it can be removed.
I have had a system crash some day ago, but I don't think that can be
the source of this problem.
Ciao
