Package: debtags
Version: 1.7.10
Severity: normal

Dear debtags maintainer,

the man page mentions that the argument of grep and other
subcommands is a "tag expression" but does not explain what a tag
expression is.

The examples suggest that three boolean operators and the grouping
operator are available. But are patterns supported ? And if so,
which ? Glob, basic regexp, extended regexp, PCRE, something else ?
Is it case sensitive ?

The only way to find out anything seems to be trial and error.

Thank you.
