What they've done is to make the error less severe (and allow you to continue to use the system) but not fix the actual problem, which is probably a problem with the Debian configuration system for RT not being accurate in its documentation/prompts. What happens is that ticket links contain references to the Organization in them (in the database), and reminders use links. If Organizations changes, those links are lost, and the reminder display code breaks (also, other links will not be viewable). The debconf prompt and default value for Organization is rather misleading as it suggests using the system hostname. This is obviously going to lead to problems when migrating databases between systems and is contrary to upstream recommendations. I'll ensure that this is documented better in future, but what you do for the best now is up to you. If you've got rid of the problematic reminders but haven't created any new links, you should be able to change your Organization to the old value and get your other old links back. Likewise, if you haven't got rid of the problematic reminders, and consequently can't access your front page, then again all you need to do is change your Organiztaion to the old value. If you *have* created new links/reminders on the new system, you're probably going to need to edit the database one way or another to correct instances of the old Organization name to the new one, or vice versa (and change your config back).
