Package: glabels Version: 2.0.2-3 Severity: normal As the subject says... glabels ignores both the per-user default printer, and the system default printer, defaulting every time to the "Generic Postscript" printer setting provided by Gnome itself.
This wouldn't be so bad, as you *can* select the proper printer from the list, but glabels gives you zero access to the printer properties (unlike most Gnome applications), and you thus can't change the other mistakes it's made, where it's trying to print on A4 paper via the printer's manual input tray, despite both CUPS' web-ui and gnome-cups-manager agreeing that the default is US Letter and the main paper tray (known as Tray2) should be the input device. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12.2 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages glabels depends on: ii glabels-data 2.0.2-3 data files for gLabels ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.17-1 Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libbonobo2-0 2.10.0-1 Bonobo CORBA interfaces library ii libbonoboui2-0 2.10.0-1 The Bonobo UI library ii libc6 2.3.5-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libgconf2-4 2.10.1-1 GNOME configuration database syste ii libglade2-0 1:2.5.1-2 library to load .glade files at ru ii libglib2.0-0 2.6.6-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgnome2-0 2.10.1-1 The GNOME 2 library - runtime file ii libgnomecanvas2-0 2.10.2-2 A powerful object-oriented display ii libgnomeprint2.2-0 2.10.3-2 The GNOME 2.2 print architecture - ii libgnomeprintui2.2-0 2.10.2-2 GNOME 2.2 print architecture User ii libgnomeui-0 2.10.1-1 The GNOME 2 libraries (User Interf ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.9-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpopt0 1.7-5 lib for parsing cmdline parameters ii libxml2 2.6.20-1 GNOME XML library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-3 compression library - runtime glabels recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
