Package: uswsusp
Version: 0.7-1.2
Severity: wishlist
Tags: upstream

Please consider packaging "new" upstream version of uswsusp (now called
suspend-utils, I think). Maybe this got lost because they switched to
a git repository:
http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/rafael/suspend-
utils.git;a=tag;h=9ae0977a25d11253319a1a50d306a43d6f43e1ea
I am concerned about the high count of release critical bugs towards
uswsusp 0.8 and would offering my help to investigate open bug reports
and test them if possible against the new version.
If there is no interest at all, I would like to comaintain this package
although I am no Debian Developer but maintain another package.

Regards,

Karl Ferdinand Ebert
