Hi, As I cleaned BTS, it has become clear some bugs are known feature limitation of xpdf which have been forwarded upstream wuth replies. I am merging bug report into them. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=331657#18 describes * overlay box with transparency/hidden * PDF file uses an interactive form These are upstream aware issue. As for 174990 , it was discussed with upstream for this kind of .gz handling or remote URL access extensions. Clearly, upstream does not wish to bloat this software in this direction. As far as Debian is concerned, zxpdf(1) has been bloated as much as possible. So this is marked as this. I added forwarded to 174990 since it was clear that this has been communicated from the context. I added forwarded to 505932 since it was clear that this has been discussed in reply to 331657 as above. I snaked in 512402. xpdf-reader is no longer valid for this report. It is dummy package as of 3.02-9. Any bug report still having xpdf-reader are switched to xpdf as soon as a maintainer looks into bug report and assess them.
