my /etc/resolv.conf was empty, and I've tried to fetch new contents of a 
ssh+svn repo via git-svn; this is the error message:
Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at 
/usr/lib/perl5/SVN/Core.pm line 584.
Network connection closed unexcepted (translated from german, sorry if not 
accurate) : To better debug SSH connection problems, remove the -q option from 
'ssh' in the [tunnels] section of your Subversion configuration file.:  at 
/usr/lib/git-core/git-svn line 1770

in first place ssh didn't even start...
