Package: fbpanel
Version: 6.0-2
Severity: normal

Hi.

As explained in
http://bugs.debian.org/585577#36
file /etc/fbpanel/default is now ignored by fbpanel.

I assume that /etc/fbpanel/default is a conffile in the Debian package.
If this is case, here we seem to have an obsolete conffile that is no
longer used by the packaged program.
I think that it should be removed from users' systems, but some users
may have customized this system-wide configuration file, hence a
strategy to preserve those local modifications should be implemented.

I don't know which is the recommended practice in these cases: you
probably know better.
In case you don't, maybe you should ask on debian-de...@l.d.o ...
