But the format of the files in updmap.d is exactly the same as in
updmap.cfg.  Therefore writing a manpage for either of them is
equivalent.  Maybe we can write updmap.cfg(5) and make updmap.d(5) an
alias to it.  Or what name should we choose?

Are there any examples how other Debian packages with foo.d
configuration directories solve this?
