Hi Paul, thanks for submitting a bug report. We have a new upstream release which seems to fix some bugs in mbox_sync_* functions, and some of these are related to your crash. Could you please try the new package (dovecot-0.99.2005.0807-1) from my personal repository [1]? It could fix your bug report, but I'm not sure.
