Then take a full backtrace (see http://wiki.debian.org/HowToGetABacktrace) and report upstream directly. Don't forget to do a search before (on the name of the segfaulting function), then add a new bug, put the backtrace directly in the bug body, and mark this current bug as forwarded to the GNOME one.
