Hi Rene, Thanks for the quick response. I have this problem: $ see mydoc.doc terminate called after throwing an instance of 'com::sun::star::uno::RuntimeException' I can work around this problem by removing the -no-oosplash option. When invoking soffice directly, I get this: $ soffice -no-oosplash -writer mydoc.doc terminate called after throwing an instance of 'com::sun::star::uno::RuntimeException' $ soffice -writer mydoc.doc (works OK) For some reason, the -no-oosplash is working for you, and not for me. Any suggestions? What more info can I provide? By the way, I am using the sun-java6-jre version 6.20-dlj-3. What Java are you using? cheers, Simon -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
