Package: mail-notification
Version: 5.4.dfsg.1-2.2
Severity: normal

Steps to reproduce:
1: Have mail waiting in inbox online
2: Log in to gnome
3: mail-notification pops up at the top left corner of the screen
4: gnome-panel (with mail-notification icon) appears several seconds later

mail-notification should only pop up after the gnome-panel has been loaded,
it's confusing to have a message floating at the top left corner of the screen,
attached to nothing at all.
(In lenny i fixed this by adding a sleep 10 to the autostart entry for mail-
notification, but i noticed this now seems to be handled without an entry in
..config/autostart)
