Package: netcat6 Version: 1.0-6 Severity: important
Hi, Netcat6 does not wait on stdin when in client mode. Steps to repeat: $ nc www.google.com 80 Effects: the nc binary returns immediately after connecting Expected effect: nc waits for lines on stdin, then forwards them through the remote socket The expected behavior exists on Ubuntu, which has nc6 1.0-5, so the bug may have been introduced in 1.0-6. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.33.2 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) (ignored: LC_ALL set to C) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages netcat6 depends on: ii libc6 2.11.2-1 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib netcat6 recommends no packages. netcat6 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
