Hi, all, I can confirm that the new version (1.9.10-1) solves the problem. I'm running a mixed testing/unstable system, and installed the new version from experimental. Architecture: AMD64. (BTW, the package manager also installed libpixman from experimental; I have no idea if that is relevant here.)
