Package: konsole Version: 4:4.4.4-1 Severity: normal This typically happens for me only on the first attempt to resize. After the KDE system stops hanging, I can resize thereafter fairly easily.
Also, I've noticed that if I disable compositing, I don't see the problem. If I disable compositing, resize konsole, and then enable compositing, I never see the problem during the session. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages konsole depends on: ii kdebase-runtime 4:4.4.4-1 runtime components from the offici ii libc6 2.11.2-2 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libkdecore5 4:4.4.4-2 the KDE Platform Core Library ii libkdeui5 4:4.4.4-2 the KDE Platform User Interface Li ii libkio5 4:4.4.4-2 the Network-enabled File Managemen ii libknotifyconfig4 4:4.4.4-2 library for configuring KDE Notifi ii libkparts4 4:4.4.4-2 the Framework for the KDE Platform ii libkpty4 4:4.4.4-2 the Pseudo Terminal Library for th ii libqt4-dbus 4:4.6.3-1 Qt 4 D-Bus module ii libqtcore4 4:4.6.3-1 Qt 4 core module ii libqtgui4 4:4.6.3-1 Qt 4 GUI module ii libstdc++6 4.4.4-6 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libx11-6 2:1.3.3-3 X11 client-side library konsole recommends no packages. konsole suggests no packages. -- no debconf information This message and any enclosures are intended only for the addressee.
